On our mission to sustainability we have installed solar panels, use an electric vehicle for our deliveries and only use sustainable suppliers, such as Dennis Crooks Fish Merchants. We are also on the road to becoming net zero and reducing our carbon footprint, with Barnsley Council.

"Wow, absolutely gorgeous fish & chips. Brilliant menu, really nice staff. Sarah served me & my lad today around 1pm and was very pleasant. Food is delicious, prices are good. The menu is brilliant for a 'chippy' with a variety of fish to suit your taste requirements. Portion sizes are really good and the meals are served in a box. Out door seating area if you're in the hop and there's parking too. Ambience is cool and the fish shop feels really authentic, so much so that the only thing missing over the road is the beach cos the food here really is THAT good. Keep up the great work ladies, a chippy to be proud of. We'll be back 10/10"
"The best chippy I’ve ever had!😍 The fish and chips are freshly, perfectly fried and full of flavour. The pies top the typical pukka pies most chip shops sell, since these are fresh from Canon Hall. Quality, fresh and tradition is definitely a priority here. 😋🐟 The outside seating is also a lovely spot to eat, surrounded by greenery and plants."
"The choice of food was very good and the option of a smaller portion (which to me was big) of fish and chips with a side was great value for money. The fish and chips tasted excellent, they were not dripping in horrible grease like some chip shops and the fish in batter just melted in my mouth. The outside seating area was clean and beautifully presented with plants and lavender which the bees were loving!"
